Previously, it was possible to shoot in Ultra HD at a lower frame-rate, but advancements to the processing heft in new models means it's possible to capture more frames in UHD than ever before. If you've picked up a new Apple smartphone, here's your guide to capturing 4K 60fps footage in just a few simple steps. How to record 4K 60fps footage on iPhone It's very simple to set up 4K 60fps recording on an iPhone. Follow these steps: First, go to your Settings app Scroll down and head into the Camera settings Then, head into the Record Video settings Choose the 4K 60fps option as your default setting Once that's done, you'll be able to go into your camera app and record video as usual. However, when you record, it'll now be shooting in 4K 60fps. The bad news is that you can't necessarily enjoy your footage to its fullest potential with an iPhone. For instance, the iPhone 8 Plus has a 60Hz display, which means it can display 60fps video just fine.
